Use a text editor to edit the "game.cfg" file found in the "/singles/config" folder. If you don’t have the patience to talk your characters into a relationship try these cheats: Say yes and they get married and live happily ever after. Once you have 10 full circles in either the romantic, friendship or sensuality categories and at least 5 full circles in the other two, you will have the option to pop the question. The object of Singles is to stop being single. Depending on your relationship levels, your characters can go from making out to heavy petting to doing the wild thing. Once you get them into the bed you’ve got more options. And they must have a double bed to do naughty things…even computer characters need room to maneuver! So, buying a double bed is mandatory. So they talk and talk and talk, when do they get to the good stuff? When you get 6 full circles in the romantic or sensuality categories, they can share a double bed. Take advantage of this extra time for conversation. Once you fill 5 romantic, 6 friendship or 4 sensuality circles your characters will be comfortable enough with each other to share the bathroom. Eat meals together invest in better furniture so there is less time wasted doing repairs. Find time for your characters to be together. The more time your characters spend together and the more they talk to each other, the faster those relationship circles fill up. The key to moving this relationship in the right direction is communication. And don’t forget to buy the vacuum cleaner! If only one character does all the work there will be trouble. In this early stage of the relationship, make sure your characters share the work around the apartment. Pay attention to your characters’ personalities, it impacts the game. In Singles you can choose from 15 different characters, each with a different personality. As they grow closer, the relationship circles (like scorekeeping) fill up and they can move onto the next phase of the relationship. Get them talking, flirting, having fun together. You can’t have them jump right into bed together. Your characters are strangers when the game begins. Of course they can climb into bed whenever they want if they’re doing something other than sleeping! The sleep option is only available from 10pm to 9am, so don’t forget. A tired or hungry character gets grumpy and that doesn’t help the relationship! Characters need to eat at least twice a day. Neglect your character’s full bladder and life gets ugly! Singles provides a stat chart at the bottom of the screen, so keep an eye on their needs. You want these characters to hook up, but in order to get there you need to take care of even the most mundane daily activities. They’ll need to flirt, tease, even share the housework! If the relationship gets in too much trouble one of them may walk out, never to return. And if you want their relationship to grow, ok, if you want them to do the horizontal hokey-pokey, you will have to get them to spend time together. They need to eat, sleep, clean the apartment, go to work, have sex (yes, I said have sex). This highly addictive relationship simulation game lets you control every aspect of your characters lives with the goal of getting them to the altar…or at least into the sack. In Singles: Flirt Up Your Life the how and the when are up to you. We all know they’re going to wind up in bed together sometime, but the question is how and when. There’s flirting, teasing, an occasional fight. Here’s the scene, two strangers short on cash are forced to share an apartment.
